ColdFusion 8.0.1 (HotFix 4) has a deadlock that can occur under some circumstances, causing the entire server to become unresponsive. This was discovered while investigating a crash on a client’s site. This post provides an easy way to reproduce the problem and describes the steps taken to identify and investigate this crash.
